Bans on Abandoning Bicycles

Inquiries: Road Section 0797-38-2062

Bicycles/motorized bicycles should always be left in bicycle parking areas.

Ashiya city has areas where it is forbidden to park bicycles. Any bicycles left in these areas will be moved to the bicycle storage and returns area at 24 Yoko-cho. You will need to pay to have your bicycle returned to you if it is moved here.

Bicycles may also be moved from areas where it is not forbidden to park them if they are becoming a nuisance.

If chains or locks have been used to secure a bicycle to a tree, bush, or fence, these will be cut to move it. Ashiya City will not be responsible for any damage.
