110 (Police) 

When there is an emergency, such as a traffic accident or theft, call the police. Dial 110 without the area code. (If there is an injured person, please call 119 for an ambulance.)

1. Dial 110.
2. Calmly and clearly explain:
   What happened?
   When did it happen?
   Where did it happen?
   Your name

110番（警察）

交通事故や泥棒、盗難（盗まれる）などがあったときは、110番に電話をかけてください。（けがをしている人がいるときは、119番に電話をかけて救急車をよんでください。）

1. 110番に電話をかける
2. 次のことを落ち着いて、はっきりと伝える
   ・何が起きたか
   ・いつ起きたか
   ・どこで起きたか
   ・名前

119 (Fires, Large and serious injuries)

When you need to report a fire or call an ambulance for a sudden illness or serious injury, contact the fire department. Dial 119 without the area code.

The Ashiya City Fire Department can respond in six languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish).

   When did it happen?
   Where did it happen?
