Disaster Preparedness Workshop for Foreigners【Applications have closed】

We are holding disaster prevention events for foreigners living in Ashiya City. Let's learn through lectures and exercises so that we can respond immediately when a disaster occurs in the future.

Report

The theme of this year’s seminar was “Wildfires”．In the first half of the seminar, participants learned about the horror of wildfires and played a game which helped them understand what to do when a wildfire breaks out. They also learned what to include in a disaster prevention kit. In the second half, both Japanese and foreign participants carried out a simulation of an evacuation shelter. During this exercise, they learned how to fill in an evacuation shelter card and how to use a translation app to understand the information given to them.

外国人向け防災イベント【申込受付は終了しました】

芦屋市に住んでいる外国人に向けた防災イベントを開催しています。これから先、災害が起こった時にすぐに対応できるよう講義や演習を通して学びましょう。

今回は「山火事（やまかじ）」についてべんきょうしました。はじめに、山火事のこわさや起こった時にどうしたらいいかゲームをしながら学びました。また、にげる時の持ち物の紹介（しょうかい）も行いました。つぎに、日本人といっしょに避難場所（ひなんばしょ・にげる場所）を考えた教室（きょうしつ）を行いました。避難所カードのかき方や情報（じょうほう）をしるための翻訳（ほんやく）アプリの使い方を学びました。

なお、この事業は自治体国際化協会の地域国際化推進アドバイザー派遣制度を利用して行っています。
