Hyogo Emergency Net
This service sends out emergency information by email when an earthquake or tsunami occurs.
It is available in 13 languages: (Japanese, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese).The website(external site) (open link in new window) has sign-up instructions in each language.
We encourage you to sign up.

Shio-Ashiya Exchange Center works as an evacuation site for people nearby, when a disaster such as earthquake or heavy rain occurs.
The Center is also a consultation center for foreign people. If there is something you want to know or if you have some trouble, please consult with staff at the Center.

Ashiya City has established Gender Equality Promotion Ordinance ten years ago, and has published easy-to-approach pamphlets(8pages).
You can easily understand what gender equality is with this pamphlet.
