Former Municipal Housing Miyazuka-cho is a two-story building built in 1952 and used to serve as a residential apartment. This rare stone building is made of light, yellow Nikka stone. The building was renovated to have some shops opened.
Room 1 Tea Saloon MUSICA
This popular tea shop was established in 1952 and offers more than 40 types of tea leaves from India, Kenya, China, Japan and so on. You can also enjoy cake and toast.
Room 2 Ameeriega toribitatta
The shop offers custom-made leather goods such as wallets, bags and eyeglass cases. Select favorite leathers from among many colors and textures to have a one and only product made.
Room 3 Tsumuji shoe shop ツムジ靴店
The shop provides handmade leather shoes not only for special occasions but also for pleasant everyday life. Shoes are made from a sheet of leather so that they are comfortable as trainers and last for many years.
Room 4 Honoka Glass 火の果ぐらす
The workshop provides glassware making classes, using the method of pouring glass liquid in molds and baking them in a kiln. You can even ask to make glassware of babies’ footprints. Join in a glassware making class and make your original work.
Room 6 galanterie club
A uniform-producing shop. The shop makes uniforms which represent your company’s policy and raise your spirits. You can also order suits.
Room 7 grow-grow
This rare chair-making class offers you lessons to make stools, chairs and sofas.
Room 8 yoshida pottery
The shop sells handcrafted pottery. Both appearance and texture of the unique and warm pottery ware will satisfy your sense.
